The HSBC Sevens World Series kicked off in Dubai today and is in full swing with some fantastic skills and footwork already on display.

Australia’s new kid on the block, Maurice Longbottom, showed a great turn of pace for his first try as they dismantled Russia, while Tim Agaba, for South Africa, was able to reach a speed of 20mph as he tore away from the Kenyan team, to seal his side’s victory.

But a real stand out moment came from the ever explosive Dan Norton, as he reached a speed of 22mph, after taking the ball from his own 5-metre line to race down the other end leaving the French defence scrambling as England claimed the win.
