VIDEO: 6'5, 111kg Vaea Fifita turns on the afterburners for freakish try

Early in Vaea Fifita’s career there was a question mark over whether he should be a backrower or a winger, and you can see why based on the try he scores against the Pumas tonight.

In the moments after the Pumas – who were leading the game 22 – 15 – botched a restart, the Hurricanes backrow gets hold of the ball. Instead of crashing it up into contact, Fifita looks for the outside and backs his pace.

Argentina’s covering defence did not stand a chance.
