Jack Hanratty has gathered 24 players for a three-day overseas USA Women’s Eagles camp in the United Kingdom.

This is the second camp Hanratty has taken charge of after a domestic camp in Chula Vista, California. The majority of players in the squad ply their trade in Premiership Women’s Rugby, as well as in France and Ireland.

Players will get a first opportunity to get to grips with their new coaching staff ahead of the Pacific Four Series getting underway in April and to begin the new Women’s Rugby World Cup cycle.

The Eagles players have three home games to look forward to on home soil this PAC4 campaign, with Tests taking place in Sacramento, Kansas City and Chicago.

Hanratty said: “The Chula Vista camp was a great opportunity for us to gather the best domestic-based athletes and put them into many game based scenarios with the majority out of XVs competition at this time.

“But for our UK based players, this is a very different stage of their year, all being in the middle of their intense season. We will be coming in ‘to check in’ with the athletes and introduce or redefine principals across all rugby aspects.

“We have athletes all over the world putting their hand up for selection for PAC4 and beyond and having these two camps has allowed us to endeavour to meet the athletes where they are in their own rugby seasons.”

The group contains 16 internationals that took place in the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup. Previously capped Saher Hamdan, who plays her club rugby in County Clare, is named, as are uncapped Mikaela Hall, Sam Brackett, Liz Cook, Annie Henrich and Morgan Freeman.
