Sharks claimed an impressive 29-19 victory away to Bulls in the United Rugby Championship.

A low-key opening half had Sharks 10-7 in front at the break and they kicked on in the second period.

Tries by Jordan Hendrikse, Tino Mavesere and Yaw Penxe earned Sharks an excellent bonus-point victory in Pretoria.

I have looked at all the RC, 6N and the NC and from memory a team that has played 6-2 has won except England - and they had mutiple yellows / red in their losses. So it is not only about SA - its France, Scotland and even England on a good day.

If a player, plays our of position, its because the 6-2 split failed their needs. Their choice. No one elses.

What you seem to be saying is that 6-2 is far more likely to win test matches, just because SA are successfully using it and winning.

What’s the point of that if you’re not making them rep teams? Make allowances for certain number of individuals? What about locals who are representing another country, is there quota on those? Why not just have a typical pro team/club?

These are administrative bodies, do you think the will run a business well and for the benefit of the business, or the admin? You’re happy to exclude all private investment? Disestablish the current club teams?

They do have depth at 9. Williams wasn’t great in the RGR but Reinach and Van Den Berg are top Class. Embrose Papier was also good. If Williams can regain his form they will be four deep there and Jantjies is far from being a slouch. In a year or so they will have Hashim Pead then they’ll have oodles of depth.

That is not true mate. Why is it when a team is great, the opposition fans have to keep saying they are full of themselves. Their systems are the benchmark at the moment and other teams can learn from Rassie’s systems of building depth and rotation of his squad. I think Les Kiss is bringing a new dimension into the Wallabies, which is to some extent similar to what Rassie has done, which is in my opinion very exciting.

They have a fair bit of depth at Hooker: Andre Hugo Venter, Wessels and Grobbelaar. I believe Grobbelaar has the potential to become a Marx, he is a little small at the moment he needs to gain about 10kg but he has all the skills.
