The 25-year-old was an extremely popular figure among fans and teammates alike at Allianz Park and worked tirelessly to improve as a player, especially at scrum time with Forwards Coach Ian Peel, during his short-term spell at the club earlier in the campaign.

In total, he made 12 appearances, making his Gallagher Premiership debut and scoring on his first outing in Europe against Cardiff Blues.

Judge’s development at Saracens has led to a top-flight move to Bath Rugby from the 2019/20 campaign and he is delighted to be back at a place where he can continue to create long-lasting memories.

“It’s really great to be back,” he said.

“My first spell at the club was an unforgettable experience which I loved and I’m relishing the opportunity to pull on a Sarries jersey again. The support I had here was humbling and I’m really looking forward to working hard and getting stuck in.

“I’d also like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone at Cornish Pirates for everything they’ve done for me during my time at the club.

“The coaches Gav, Paves and Morgs alongside our support team have invested a great deal of time and energy into helping me develop and for that I’m hugely grateful. Likewise, I’d like to thank my teammates for many great memories both on and off the pitch. Finally, thank you to all of the fans who have been amazing from day one.”

Director of Rugby Mark McCall added: “We are delighted to have Christian back with us for the rest of the season. He made a telling contribution in his first spell at the club and worked extremely hard at his game.

“He is highly respected by everyone at the club and we are looking forward to working alongside him in the exciting months ahead.”
