Report: Moana Pasifika's Semisi Tupou Ta'eiloa tipped to make All Blacks squad

He won’t be in today’s squad - but another MP player who I think could be in an AB conversation in 12 months time is Israel Leota - has everything 6’3 - 105Kg and speed.

One reasons I think he has stuck in NZ post MP is that he has been identifed as a talent by NR Rugby - signed for Nth Harbour for ITM cup and will be interesting which Super Squad picks him up.

So ABs strike weapons out wide looking very healthy and for me personally, we can potentially introduce more size into the team - Kryen T @ 6’3/circa 100Kg - so for me likes of Leroy Carter are a touch on the small size for international rugby - give me 100Kg plus monsters on the edge with speed and size - go through, around or above you!

I hope STT’s inclusion is confirmed tomorrow. Among those 10 selected players, I’d really like to see several young, high-potential prospects. If it’s just to pick Blackadder and Kirifi, I don’t think it makes much sense. We already know what they can bring at international level, but we also know their limitations.

For the first three matches, the All Blacks need to test their depth and get a look at the next generation of All Blacks.

I’m also hoping Lucas Casey gets the nod tomorrow.

That's a great pick up for the AB’s. He was outstanding these past two seasons in SRP. With a little extra conditioning he's gonna be a class international.
