Red carded Kyle Eastmond cited on two separate incidents

Kyle Eastmond will have to answer for two separate incidents during Wasps match with Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop on Sunday.

Eastmond is due to appear before an independent disciplinary panel on the charges tomorrow (Tuesday).

He was shown a red card by referee Wayne Barnes for a dangerous tackle on Harlequins’ Marcus Smith contrary to law 9.13 in the 17th minute of the match Harlequins v Wasps on Sunday 11 February 2018.

Independent citing commissioner Paul Burke has also cited Eastmond for a separate dangerous tackle on Harlequins’ Ross Chisholm contrary to law 9.13 in the 15th minute of the same match.

Eastmond’s hearing for both charges will take place in Coventry on Tuesday 13 February at 18.30. The panel will be chaired by Sean Enright with Leon Lloyd and one other member to be confirmed.
