Rugby Australia has announced another four signings for the 2026 international season, with a quartet of uncapped rookies putting pen to paper on deals, as an extended Wallaroos squad prepares to assemble in Sydney this weekend.

The Wallaroos revealed on Thursday that uncapped talent Queensland Reds winger Caitlin Urwin, ACT Brumbies pair Lily Bone and Ella Ryan, and Western Force’s Brookly Teki-Joyce had signed on with the national program.

As the Wallaroos prepare to usher in a new era without coach Jo Yapp, another four rookies have signed on. Brumbies pair Chioma Enyi and Manu’a Moleka join Western Force playmaker Grace Freeman and NSW Waratahs hooker Millie Parker in the program from January.

At just 18, Moleka toured with the Wallaroos as a World Cup squad member earlier this year. The teenage talent, who is the younger sister of Australia fly-half Faitala Moleka, is yet to debut at international level.

Enyi is a former Australian Athletics champion who was prolific in sprints and long jump events. The 24-year-old also competed in boxing from a young age, before friends encouraged her to play rugby union during high school.

“Manu’a was an integral member of the Wallaroos squad throughout the 2025 season, contributing significantly despite not taking the field,” General Manager of Women’s Rugby, Jilly Collins, said in a statement.

“While an unfortunate knee injury will require her to focus on rehabilitation for the majority of 2026, she remains a key figure in our plans for the future of the program.

“Chioma has been on our radar for some time and after her strong season with the Brumbies, we’re delighted to have her in the squad next season.

“We see huge potential in her as a dynamic back-rower. She possesses the drive and physical prowess to make an immediate impact and we look forward to her future with the Wallaroos.”

New Zealand-born Freeman suffered some injuries in 2025, which ruled the fly-half out of Wallaroos contention ahead of the World Cup. Freeman played for the Melbourne Rebels before making the move west in Super Rugby Women’s.

Parker is rising star from the Central Coast who was selected for the Australian Schoolgirls side at the Global Youth Sevens, before debuting for the Waratahs during the team’s run to a second successive tile in 2025.

“Grace is a promising fly-half who demonstrated her quality early this year with the Force, despite her progress unfortunately being hampered by injury,” Collins explained.

“She is a talented ball-playing inside back, complemented by a very strong kicking game.

“We are delighted she has agreed to a national contract and are genuinely excited about what she has to offer the squad.

“Millie is the definition of a player on the rise,” she added.

“She offers an exciting combination of pace and forward strength to the Wallaroos squad and we firmly believe she has a very bright future ahead in the gold jersey.”

An extended squad will attend a four-day training camp in Sydney to prepare for 2026.

The Wallaroos’ Test schedule will be announced in December.
