Max Ojomoh gets chance to show versatility in crunch Cup tie
Max Ojomoh has been handed his third start at fly-half this season in Bath’s crunch PREM Cup tie at home to Gloucester this Saturday.
He played 10 in the first two rounds of the Gallagher PREM, the wins away to Harlequins and at home to Sale Sharks.
Ojomoh, who has so far been overlooked by England in the Six Nations, is partnered at half-back by Tom Carr-Smith, who recently signed a new deal.
Exeter-bound Will Butt once again captains the side from inside-centre, with Chris Harris outside him.
Powerhouse wings Will Muir and Joe Cokanasiga are joined by Tom de Glanville in the back three.
In the front row, Francois van Wyk joins recent Bath renewals Kepueli Tuipulotu and Vilikesa Sela, while Will Jeanes and Charlie Ewels lock down the scrum.
Ted Hill lines up on the blindside, seeing Ethan Staddon switch across to the openside flank, while No.8 Miles Reid completes the pack.
A win for reigning champions Bath will see them book a semi-final date away to Leicester, as long as Gloucester don’t secure two bonus points.
A bonus-point win for Bath makes it impossible for the Cherry & Whites to qualify at their expense.
