Dennis has served as a Non-Executive Director for the three-time Premiership Women’s Rugby champions for the past two years and previously worked as Head of Strategy and Business Management for Women’s Football at The Football Association.

During her time at Wembley Stadium the executive played a significant role in the moulding of women’s football in England.

Rebecca Dennis said: “It is a real honour to be appointed Chief Executive Officer of Gloucester Hartpury. I would like to thank the board for placing their trust in me, and everyone connected with the club for their continued support.

“Gloucester Hartpury has established itself as one of the best women’s rugby teams in the world, and as three-time Premiership Women’s Rugby champions, the standards and ambition here are incredibly high.

“I am excited to work with our players, staff, partners and supporters to build on that success, continue driving excellence on and off the field, and ensure the club remains at the forefront of the women’s game for years to come.”

Across her career, Dennis has developed a strong background in developing strategies for business growth and previously held roles at St. James’s Place and Goldman Sachs.

Alex Brown, Gloucester Rugby Chief Executive Officer, commented: “We are delighted Rebecca has taken on the role as CEO at Gloucester Hartpury. Having served as a Non-Executive Board member, she already has a strong understanding of the organisation, its ambitions and its values.

“Rebecca brings a deep passion for sport, a proven track record of strategic delivery and a strong belief in the power of sport to create positive impact on and off the field. We are excited about the leadership she will provide as the club continues to build on its success.”
