This is an example of weak analysis. Tries scored by bench players is only a small part of rating the impact of a bench. What about try-assists, scrum penalties, meter made, tackles, etc etc - (possibly add in a factor for strength of opposition) - Can we get real subject matter experts to write articles please?

Human is a legendary prop who is battle hardened, and he knows what he is doing. Ryan is an armchair prop coach who has never been in the fire of a scrum. That’s the difference.

Yep. I think we’d gone as far as we could with both the attack and defence. I don’t pretend to understand the detail for either but it’s easy to see that we need a rejig if we want to play at the top table.

I really don’t get the reluctance to play JAS at 12.

I’d agree FB will be become his final destination, prob via the wing first.

A similar piece might well have been possible with Jorgo, but it’s easier to show with JAS as he is prob playing out of position without a lot of experience in the game.

No it won’t have much experience unless they can find a cordon bleu D coach to complete the panel! It will be fascinating to see what they do with key guys like Ikitau, Suaalii, Skelton, Carter G etc. Key decisions predict the future!

Was Jorgo a big liability in defence? I remember he missed one bad one against the Lions but the try was disallowed. I don’t remember him being poor defensively but I was a forward so I could be missing something

Not feeling overly confident with the wallabies in 26. Les Kiss seems to be well liked by his players so maybe he’ll be better at the relationships and getting the most out of some players? I also hope they make some basic position changes like JAS out of the centres and also with Carter Gordon back there is some chance. In saying that the coaching team suggested doesn’t seem to have much international experience?

Agree on JAS, long term I think he would make a better fullback than I.Folau.

Disagree on Jorgensen, or any player with question marks over their defensive capabilities. For Oz to consistently compete with S.A., France etc we need players that are effective on both sides of the ball, e.g. Fraser McReight.
