One week after having two players handed red cards, the French U20 have had another player sent from the pitch.
French replacement forward Georges-Henri Colombe was given a yellow card for a tip-tackle on Callum Carson in similar fashion to the incident that saw Hassane Kolingar and Pierre-Henri Azagoh shown red last week.
France u20 had 2 red cards against England last week for lifting through 90.
Here's another in tonight's fixture v Wales, but just a yellow given.
This is a good example of why a sanction based on outcome is wrong. It was pure luck the Welsh player didn't land on his head. pic.twitter.com/4DVd8jlFa1

Despite the success, the incidents against England and Wales may cast a shadow on France’s tournament.
