France U20s secure Six Nations, have another sent from pitch

One week after having two players handed red cards, the French U20 have had another player sent from the pitch.

French replacement forward Georges-Henri Colombe was given a yellow card for a tip-tackle on Callum Carson in similar fashion to the incident that saw Hassane Kolingar and Pierre-Henri Azagoh shown red last week.

France went on to beat Wales 24-3 and clinch the U20 Six Nations title with a bonus point victory. Their Women’s U20 side clinched the Grand Slam earlier in the day.

Despite the success, the incidents against England and Wales may cast a shadow on France’s tournament.

He was an amazing disaster for them from day one, and looking back there are no achievements, only failures like;

1. Unilaterally blowing up the signed S14 deal which has worked out well for both the Boks and Argentina. The result for him is losing off field support from two unions with votes and ending up with a second rate, lucky loser 11 team competition.

Attack coach is the top priority.

Dealing with the high ball is a skill. Doesn’t need a full-time coach. And yes, Hansens lack of ‘clarity’ in explaining where things are going wrong must be confusing for the players also.

As in they just have teams from the same nation play each other or are we saying English and the non SA URC teams and then French and SA teams? Because surely that eventually gets pretty boring quite quickly? I get it's probably a struggle for the SA teams and the french sides have so much depth for the most part that they're guaranteed to rotate.

As someone mentioned when it was the Heineken that teams had a contractual obligation to play strong sides, that's surely the way to go?

I agree, the 1st round has some good games but whoever loses R1, it falls off pretty quickly and then comes back from the QF’s onwards.

SF’s are great, as are finals, so it ends in the right place but how they get there is not great.

Deregistered by his club too.

Totally unrelated, but if a player in a similar position was to take some ’testosterone supplements’ that could be a great chance to cycle, out of competition and regular testing.
