France make trio of changes for Canada encounter

François Ratier has been forced into making three changes to his starting XV ahead of his side’s WXV Global Series encounter with Canada in La Rochelle.
Last week in Aix-en-Provence, France claimed a dramatic 29-26 victory over Australia despite being reduced to 11 players at one stage in the first half.
Following disciplinary action and match bans for Ambre Mwayembe and Cloé Correa, wo were shown a 20-minute red card and a straight red card respectively against the Wallaroos, Ratier has reshuffled his pack.

Yllana Brosseau returns to the starting line-up, while Charlotte Escudero moves from the back row to the second row.
As a result, Mouna Toure earns a place in the starting XV and will be joined in the back row by Axelle Berthoumieu and Léa Champon.
Prop Assia Khalfaoui and hooker Elisa Riffonneau complete the front row with Brosseau, meanwhile lock Julia Grosz will link up with Escudero in the second row.
There is one change among the backs, with debutant Marie Ibañez earning her first start on the wing alongside Léa Champon. Emilie Boulard completes the back three at full-back.
Téani Feleu and Gabrielle Vernier have been chosen in the midfield, while captain Pauline Bourdon Sansus and Carla Arbez continue their half-back partnership from throughout the WXV Global Series campaign.
Ratier has named Mathilde Lazarko, Amalia Bazola Allieres, Annaëlle Deshaye, Lou Roboam, Elsa Peyras, Alexandra Chambon, Lina Queyroi and Elodie Fernandez as his replacements to complete his 23.
