Four-time PWR winner commits to 13th Saracens season

Lotte Sharp has re-signed with Saracens to take her association with the North London club into a 13th season.

The 31-year-old joined Saracens in 2014 from Welwyn Rugby and won the Women’s Premiership in her first season.

In the years since, Sharp has since made her 150th appearance for the club and has won JAECOO Premiership Women’s Rugby four times.

Last season Sharp made 15 league appearances for the StoneX Stadium club and scored five tries. In addition to playing top-flight rugby, Sharp teaches full-time at Heath Mount School.

Alex Austerberry, Director of Rugby, said: “Lotte embodies what it is to be a Saracen. Hard-working, physical and, time and time again, she puts her body on the line for the team.

“Off the field, Lotte ensures the values of the club are promoted and plays a significant role in the culture of the club.

“A key leader in the group who continues to perform at an incredibly high level, Lotte’s consistency and longevity are testament to her character, diligence, and drive.

“As a one-club player with over 180 appearances for the club, it is great that Lotte will continue into her 13th season at the club.”

The 31-year-old is a current USA Women’s Eagles international. She started to represent the Eagles in 2022 after she completed a union birthright transfer. Previously Sharp had won 10 caps for England and represented the country in rugby sevens.

Sharp has not represented the USA since Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 and has not been included in Jack Hanratty’s WXV Global Series squad for tour fixtures against Ireland and Wales. The Eagles will then host Italy and England in October.
