Ex-PREM centre Tom Hendrickson secures move to France

Long-time Exeter Chiefs player, Tom Hendrickson, has left Worcester Warriors and signed for Biarritz in France’s Pro D2.
The powerful 100kg centre spent 10 years at the Chiefs, scoiring nine tries in 89 appearances.
He then spent some time in Japan and his native New Zealand at Hanazono Kintetsu Liners and North Harbour, before being offered a career lifeline by Champ phoenix club Worcester.
Hendrickson, 31, made nine appearances in his 16 weeks with the Warriors, having made his debut in December, but has now swapped the second division in England for its French equivalent.

“We are so thankful for Tom for his dedication and effort during his sixteen weeks with the club,” said Worcester head coach Matt Everard.
“Due to the timing of Tom’s arrival, we were never in a position to contract him, so his hard work in that time is a testament to his character.
“A move to France is a dream move for Tom, and we wish him the best of luck and will keenly follow and support him during his time there.”
Hendrickson goes straight into injury-hit Biarritz’s matchday squad for this evening’s match away to Aurillac, joining another former PREM player, ex-Newcastle wing, Zack Kibirige, on the bench.
