England U21 Women's training squad of the season named
LJ Lewis has selected a 34-player squad for the first England Under-21 Women’s training camp of the season.
Along with assistant coach Sarah McKenna the side will assemble at Loughborough University for a three-day meeting.
As of the 2025/26 season Lewis’ side not operates as a U21 age-grade team and can see up to five U23 players selected. This change was introduced to enable a longer opportunity to support the development of U18 graduates entering adult rugby.
Former U18 representatives Tamsin Baynes, Isabelle Clist, Grace Keel, Solana Shaw de Leon, Demelza Short, Hannah Smyth, Ellie Wilson and Rubie Winstanley have all been named in the squad.
Grace White, who was last capped at U20 level in 2023, is reintroduce to the set-up. Nikki Davenhill and Ellen Scantlebury are named in their first pathways squad. After they took part in pathway positional camps in October, Maddie Flutey, Haidee Head, Jemma-Jo Linkins and
In total 18 of the group were capped at U20 level in previous seasons.
This week Lewis and McKenna will be supported by Red Roses coaches Louis Deacon, Sarah Hunter and Andy Holloway, alongside Emily Scarratt and U18 coaches James Cooper, Ollie Perry and Benny Williams.
