Henry Pollock Bio

Born 14 January 2005, Henry Pollock joined the Northampton Saints Academy at the U13 level. He then progressed through the system, ultimately captaining the Northampton Saints U18 side that reached the 2023 Academy League final.

Since then, Henry Pollock’s rise has been meteoric. He made his debut for the Northampton Saints first team in the Premiership Rugby Cup during the 2022-23 season. Then, in October 2022, he became the club’s youngest try scorer in the professional era of rugby.

A year later, in 2023, Henry Pollock signed his first professional contract with Northampton Saints. Aside from a brief stint on loan with Bedford Blues during the 2023-24 season, he’s stayed with the Premiership Rugby side ever since. He notably played a pivotal role as Northampton made the final of the European Rugby Champions Cup in the 2024-25 season.

Henry Pollock has enjoyed a similar level of success in his fledgling career with England. He captained the England U18 team, before scoring a hat-trick on his debut at the U20 level. With this squad, he also won both the U20 Six Nations and the 2024 World Rugby U20 Championship. At the end of 2024, he also represented England at ‘A’ level.

Henry Pollock then made his full England debut at the 2025 Six Nations. He came off the bench against Wales and scored two tries as England defeated Wales 14-68.

Thanks to his performances for Northampton and England, Henry Pollock was called into the British and Irish Lions squad for the team’s tour of Australia in 2025. He was the youngest Lion on the tour, aged just 20. Although he didn’t make a test appearance during the tour, he performed admirably in the warmup and midweek matches.

Still young and with the world at his feet, we can’t wait to see what Henry Pollock can achieve in the game.
