Ellie Kildunne to release book ahead of 2026 Women's Six Nations

Ellie Kildunne 'Game Changer' book

World Cup winning England full back Ellie Kildunne has announced she is releasing a book ahead of this year’s Women’s Six Nations.

From being told girls don’t play rugby to winning a Rugby World Cup on home soil last year, ‘Game Changer’ will tell Kildunne’s story of smashing barriers and achieving impossible dreams.

The Red Roses star is passionate about showing other girls and women they can do it too. Kildunne is a vocal advocate for women’s rugby, and regularly uses her social platforms to inspire and empower the next generation of players.

Autobiographies written by women’s rugby players are remarkably rare compared to their male counterparts with Black Fern Ruby Tui ‘Straight Up’, former England captain Catherine Spencer ‘Mud, Mauls and Mascara’ and England legend Maggie Alphonsi ‘Winning the Fight’ a few well known names to have also gained publishing deals.

Kildunne said: “Setbacks, injuries and sacrifice are all part of the game, and this is the honest story of how I threw myself into the deep end and climbed the ranks in the world of professional rugby.”

With over 50 caps for England, Kildunne had an outstanding 2025 World Cup campaign scoring highlight reel worthy individual tries against France in the semi-finals and Canada in the final.

Playing for Harlequins in the PWR, you can next watch the 2024 World Player of the Year in action this weekend as Quins take on league leaders Gloucester-Hartpury at Kingsholm.
