Owen Franks, the younger brother of fellow All Black Ben, has become one of the premier tighthead props in world rugby. His technique at scrum time and his work-rate around the pitch have seen him fill the void left by Carl Hayman at number three. His form for Super Rugby side the Crusaders saw him earn his first cap for New Zealand in 2009 against Italy.
