  • Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
    '
  • France bounce back from their disappointing late defeat against South Africa last week with a comfortable victory over Argentina at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy. The Pumas made a bright start to the contest and took the lead through Ramiro Moyano's early try, while the boot of Nicolas Sanchez proved to be deadly in the first half. However, Les Bleus battled back to take the lead into the break as Teddy Thomas found the line and Baptiste Serin sent three penalties through the posts. France took control of the contest in the second period, despite suffering a setback when Sanchez notched another penalty. Thomas crossed the line for his second score of the game before Serin's boot proved to be reliable again. Guilhem Guirado's try killed the game off nine minutes from time capitalising on a mistake in the Argentina backline, securing the 15-point win for the hosts.
