Les Kiss on the Springboks challenge after Wallabies make history

Springboks at another level and after being battle hardened against NZ I believe that Australia are going to be given a rugby hiding. The only thing that can save them a real thrashing is if the Springboks select a c or d team and rest most of their rgr players. NZ to win the b cup easily.

Do Australians realize they played Argentina’s second team and they were missing 10 starters at least? If anything this shows they still have a lot to gain before they can get back into the elite. On the other hand, kudos to Argentina showing a ton of kids ready to step up and a great future ahead.

Boks by 20

You should be incredibly proud Les Kiss the wallabies are playing the best footy I have seen them play to date . You have my support for the B Cup i would love to see you and your men take it for the first time in over 20 something years . You have my support from a springbok fan

Incredibly clunky display, albeit the argies are plucky. They need way more variability in attack to be a threat against better teams. Tom Wright had a shocker and that stuff at the end of half time was properly crap.

If nothing else this block of mini tours has generated a lot of useful information for the coaches to work with as they continue to build this side up to host the World Cup.

The fact that they're displaying much better discipline for most of matches instead of only in patches and that despite being clunky they're still finding ways to get forwards are all positive signs.

They still need to become more economical with their attack and much of that depends on the back line becoming once again the vaunted weapon it once was.

But there's generally good enterprise about the way the players are approaching matches and a genuine spirit is being built that can only deliver better results going forwards.

Obviously the pressure only ratchets up from here with the Boks next up and then back to back tests against the ABs before heading north to England, Scotland and Wales.

Although the Wallabies have had the wood over Wales for the last several years they've been rebuilding solidly since last year and look to have rediscovered their own spirit which will make the meeting in Cardiff a genuine challenge, especially since it comes at the end of the block.

England and Scotland both present tough physical challenges that are going to really test the technical proficiency of the side as well their ability to sustain their composure and maintain high intensity.

To that end, having the World Champs and the would-be champions over the next three games in the lead up is critical preparation as the exact areas that the northern sides are going to be threatening are exactly the areas that will be most exposed by the Boks and ABs.

While I don't expect the Wallabies to win against either side, what's crucial is that what they've been building so far takes further leaps forwards in terms of set piece control and general game management.

If they can hold their own up front against the Boks and can stick with the ABs in the loose then that should be considered a success.

Well one thing is for sure. The Wallabies will not be reversing in the scrums.
