I think you will see Moorby, Jordan and DMac as the back three. Carter is a great player, as they all are, but they will want the three fullbacks for the Bok kicking game, and you lose nothing with Moorby over Carter. The former is more accurate and has plenty of X-factor skill.

Maybe the media and fans in NZ are doing the marketing for league by constantly hyping the SRP way as the inly way to play rugby. Sub consciously it can become an obsession. They keep harping on about slow NH rugby. Stats like ball in play etc have been higher in the 6N.

What good is it if you can only score 1 try off 80 phases of play but your oponents only need 25? Then factor in the rush defense, tactical kicking and relentless breakdown pressure from players whe have not been gassed out through scrums and mauls. Fact it, teams will work it out and withstand it better than you expect.

You hit the nail on the head here mate. The Boks (and a lot of Safas) are acutely aware of the ABs bench player drop off. This played a big part in me calling that the Stormers game would be close if the Stormers B team could last the full 80 minutes. Its not just the Boks who have great front rows, every URC team has them and back-up for their back-ups who are all capable of doninating like that.

All true Graham yes the test will be epic, we will have a few key guys to add to the team as well. Yes Love is a fantastic talent and will get better, injuries have plagued him though so we will see if he can survive four against the Bok beast.

I don’t see the ABs suddenly being able to match the Boks scrummaging over 80 minutes Nick.

What the Boks have today was built over years not weeks and not dependent on 1 or 2 players being available.
