This referee is a joke.
The referees were a joke - OMG this is going to be a disaster of a tour if the ABs fail to come to grips with NH referees. No wonder the Boks have doubled down on their game plan - who wants to play high intensity rugby when the Ref can ping you for just about anything that might look like an infringement .
THIS IS CATASTROPHIC.
A complete mess of rugby. The All Blacks are being trapped by a Stormers side that is playing at its own pace… a slow one. Quite a few NZ players simply aren’t up to the level. Mistake after mistake.
Beauden Barrett comes back onto the field, and it feels like there’s no one in charge. It’s absolutely painful to watch.
Ratima looks hesitant, Proctor and Leroy Carter were absolutely terrible in the first half… and Tosi still hasn’t realised that he’s being manipulated by the Stormers’ loosehead.

Yes a horrific performance - Beauden is the ABs kryptonite, ALB is a penalty merchant and the forwards are a mess at set piece. Passing and handling the worst all season. It is really difficult to express how poor this performance was. Morby and Aumua show what first choice ABs look like. All the others just failed at various times to come close to the requisite standard, though Jacomb and Norris impressed in their short cameos.
Dixon looks like he blows and then decides who to penalize.
The Stormers’ front row has clearly figured out how to win penalties. They keep pulling the NZ props to the ground. It’s awful to watch…

The ABs started really well. Playing into the South Africans hands a bit. Allowing them to control the game. Nice and slow. Slow and steady wins the race.
The TMO was feeling lonely.
