Joe Rokocoko, in 2003, became the youngest player selected for the All Blacks since winger Jonah Lomu and made his Test debut against England at Wellington in June, following his debut season with the Blues. Rokocoko holds a World Record for a calendar year with 17 tries in 12 Tests, a feat that he achieved in 2003, and in that same year he became the first player to score 10 tries in his first five Tests whilst also becoming the first All Black to score two or more tries in four successive Tests. The International Rugby Players' Association recognised his excellent 2003 season with a nomination for 2003 Player of the Year award. He has represented New Zealand at all age groups.
